Open Tapes

Users can get fast, accurate measurements on job sites with a MILWAUKEE® Open Reel Measuring Tape. There are two types of Open Measuring Tape available: Long Open Tapes and Fibreglass Long Tapes. Both deliver precise readings and have a robust and durable design. The Long Open Tapes have Class II accuracy and come in a choice of 30 m or 100 m, with two-sided scale printing displaying metric measurements on the top side and imperial (inches and feet) on the underside. The blade itself is steel with extra thick nylon coating which protects the Tape and extends its lifespan for repeated use across applications. This has best-in-class stretch performance, with up to 50% less stretch than fibreglass Tapes. The reinforced metal handle means the Tape is easily portable around job sites. 3:1 clutched planetary gearing provides 10x longer gear durability than standard Tapes and smooth rewind functionality means users can move on to other tasks without delay. Both Long Open Tapes and Fibreglass Long Tapes have GRIME GUARD, a debris wiper that keeps the blade clear of abrasive material, so measurement readings are quick and easy. The Fibreglass Long Tapes also have two-sided scale printing in metric and imperial and 3:1 clutched planetary gearing. As it's made of fibreglass, this has a low tape weight so is easy to carry.
