Reach & Ergonomics

Reach is crucial when dealing with tall and wide hedges. The M18 FUEL™ Extended Pole Hedge Trimmer 267 cm was designed specifically for this purpose, with the longest reach in the range. This allows you to stay safely on the ground when cutting the top of large bushes. Extended models also give you the advantage of staying out of reach of thorns, while helping you maneuver around obstacles.

Ergonomics are maximised for every trimmer. Cordless Hedge Trimmers provide excellent weight distribution with a clean and precise cut. Bail handle placement and weight distribution allow for the best combination of balance and control. Each trimmer includes a rotating handle with five positions, allowing you to instantly adjust your grip for the perfect angle and making longer applications much more comfortable.

How to Use

The Hedge Trimmer range features blade lengths of 45 cm, 60 cm, and 75 cm, catering to a variety of applications, all equipped with double sharpened & dual actuating blades for clean cuts and removal of thicker material. A blade tip guard is included to protect the blades and prevent accidental damage of fences or other objects.

The Pole Hedge Trimmer range features blade lengths of 180 cm, 216 cm and 267 cm, with a 270° articulating head, including 13 working positions and one storage position. This flexibility allows users to trim comfortably at almost any angle. In the storage position, the trigger is disabled to prevent the blades from starting accidentally.

With a M18™ FORGE™ 8.0 Ah Battery, the technology takes performance to the next level. Providing the power to replace petrol, MILWAUKEE® battery technology is optimised for the outdoors - providing ultimate power for the most demanding applications. The M18 FUEL™ Extended Pole Hedge Trimmer 216 cm and the M18 FUEL™ Extended Pole Hedge Trimmer 267 cm deliver up to 50 minutes of continuous runtime, while the M18 FUEL™ Hedge Trimmer 60 cm provides up to 1 hour per charge. Rotate the batteries for enough runtime to cover a full working day.

Maintenance & Sharpening

Blade maintenance is crucial for maintaining consistent performance and longer tool life. Always keep the blades lubricated for smooth cutting and reduced wear. It is recommended to lubricate the trimmer before and after each session. 

Always clean the blades after use. It helps maintain performance and prevents the spread of diseases across hedges.

All models use double sided dual sharpen blades, they produce a cleaner finish promoting healthier regrowth. Sharpening can be done by the user, following the angle of the cutting edge. Use the M12™ Sub Compact Rotary Tool for best results.

When needed, the blades are fully replaceable, preventing a compromise in performance.
