INV-002: Tool Stolen Before Being Added to Inventory - Cannot Lock or Track

If a tool is stolen before it has been added to inventory, the owner cannot lock it out or prove ownership. An unclaimed tool can be added to inventory by anyone with the ONE-KEY™ app.

1) Add every ONE-KEY™ compatible tool to inventory immediatly on purchase - do not wait.

2) If the tool was stolen before being registered, contect MILWAUKEE® support with your proof of purchase (receipt).

3) Provide the tool serial number to support to initiate an ownerhip investigation.

Note: Recovery is not guaranteed if the tool was never in your inventory.

INV-003: Tool Disappears From Inventory - Third Party Can Claim Ownership

A tool vanishes from the user's inventory without any action taken by the owner. Once unclaimed in the system, any ONE-KEY™ user can add it to their own inventory, removing the original owner's tracking and lockout rights.

1) Immediately re-add the tool using its serial number if it disappears from your inventory.

2) Contact ONE-KEY™ Support with the serial number and proof of purchase.

3) Request an ownership history audit from the support teams.

4) Screenshot your full inventory regularly as an ongoing ownership record.
