Pre-Contractual Data Information Notice
Pursuant to Article 3(2) Regulation (EU) 2023/2854 (EU Data Act)
Connected Products: (Milwaukee ONE KEY-Products)
This notice provides mandatory pre-contractual information regarding product data generated by the above-mentioned connected products in accordance with Article 3 of Regulation (EU) 2023/2854 (EU Data Act).
(a) Type, Format and Estimated Volume of Product Data
Type of Product Data
Depending on the specific product configuration and its use, the connected product is capable of generating the following categories of product data:
- > Usage statistics (e.g., trigger pulls, battery insertions, motor temperature histogram)
- > Usage timestamps (e.g., last tool use, battery attachment time)
- > Error messages (e.g., communication errors, motor errors)
- > User-generated data (e.g., videos, notes, where applicable)
- > Product identification data (e.g., product ID, born on date, firmware version)
The actual data generated depends on the intensity and manner of use.
Format of the Data
Product data made accessible under the EU Data Act will be provided in .CSV format.
Estimated Volume of Data
The volume of generated data varies depending on product type and usage frequency.
(b) Continuous and Real-Time Data Generation
The respective connected product is able to generate data continuously and in real time as part of its use.
(c) Data storage and retention
The respective connected product is able to store data locally on the device. The data must be retrieved by an external system, such as the OneKey or service center applications, to move it to a remote server. The duration of storage depends on the period for which the processing is necessary for the fulfilment of the purpose, in particular within the framework of the performance of the respective contract and legal obligations. Legal retention obligations also remain unaffected.
(d) Access, Retrieval and Erasure of Data
The stored data can only be accessed by TTI on the product via a cable connection with special software. Some values can also be displayed on the tool's display
The user himself has no other direct access or retrieval options apart from the display or the service app.
Data deletion can only be carried out by TTI using special software, as far as technically and operationally possible and legally permissible. The user has no possibility of data deletion.
Terms of use relating to TTI products do not exist.
