Milwaukee Tool announces another innovative, dedicated concrete finishing equipment solution for the concrete contractor.
Part of the MX FUEL™ Equipment System*, the MX FUEL™ Vibratory Screed is critical to the concrete leveling process, ensuring the slab is flat and meets grade. Delivering the power to pull a 4.87 m bar, eliminating PETROL headaches, and offering UP TO two hours of run time per charge with a 3.00 m bar**, the new vibratory screed reduces user frustrations while meeting power requirements and exceeding run time needs.
Coming off the success of the MX FUEL™ Backpack Concrete Vibrator, we knew the next step was to provide a concrete leveling solution that took on the frustrations and problems of a petrol-powered screed. By utilising our MX FUEL™ technology we can deliver a vibratory screed that is more reliable than petrol while still delivering the performance and power our users demand. The MX FUEL™ Vibratory Screed is the next step in our push to offer general contractors and concrete contractors a full line of concrete finishing equipment solutions.
With the power to pull up to 4.87 m bars and consolidate up to 15 centimetres of concrete without sacrificing power, users have maximum control in both stiff and wet concrete. The push-button start provides instant power with no petrol headaches and eliminates the repetitive motions of a pull start, reducing downtime. The battery-powered screed requires no regular maintenance, eliminates the need to mix petrol and oil, produces less noise and vibration, and has zero emissions – making the workplace safer whether indoors or outdoors.
When paired with a 3.00 m bar and one MX FUEL™ REDLITHIUM™ CP203 battery pack, the MX FUEL™ Vibratory Screed delivers up to two hours of run time per charge, or up to 850 square metres. The screed can also run two motors on one bar for increased mobility if using a longer bar.
Seven screed bars are available separately, ranging from 1.22 – 4.87 m in length. Constructed from lightweight magnesium, the extra-rigid, double triangle design transmits consistent vibrations across the entire length of the bar. Utilising a clamp design, MILWAUKEE®’s Screed Bar allows users to quickly attach the bar at any point on the machine.
As an added benefit, users can track, manage, and secure the screed from their mobile device through ONE-KEY™***, the industry’s largest Bluetooth® community tracking network. If the vibratory screed is ever lost or stolen, ONE-KEY™ provides the ability to prevent tampering with remote lockout capability.
